What “free” means here

PatchWalker is freeware: you can download it and use it across your estate at no charge, for personal or commercial use, with no feature limits and no licence keys. It is not open source — the software remains proprietary, and redistribution or modification isn’t permitted. Full terms are in the licence.

Why donate?

PatchWalker is built and maintained by one person. Donations fund the time that goes into new features, fixes and keeping it current. They’re entirely optional — the software is the same whether you give or not.
